Adaptive family won't pick end point from 3D

I have created an adaptive family for fabric placement. As you can see in the image It won't pick the end point of the line. I tried setting the workplane to this imported cad file but option wasn't there. What do I do? How people work with bent shapes like these? software limitation or is there a way? I have attached the CAD file for reference.

Can you post the RFA family file too?

Why don't you just build it in Revit. It's relatively easy and a heck of a lot faster.  Apply Pattern-Based Panels to a Divided Surface.  Triangle (bent) Pattern in your case.  Plus, you can make it a fully parametric BIM asset - not a "boat anchor" in your BIM. 😉

@faijanuddinshaikh

You know, I just realized that your DWG element is teeny tiny and the length of those triangulation lines in it are around 0.7mm.  Are you aware of Revit's 1/32" (0.79375mm) minimum line length?  On top of that, are you aware that you're modeling 1:1 in Revit. All that linework will be for not. It's way, way too dense.

I had a similar fabric file imported without any issues, maybe it had bigger lines. I'll look into that.

Option 2: don't use a Pattern-Based Template. Model the Panel in an Adaptive Family Template. Adaptive Points that drive the shape of the Panel will snap to Divided Surface Nodes.
