Acquiring Coordinates from DWG file in Revit 2025

I've been trying to acquire coordinates from a DWG file in revit 2025, using the same workflow that I've been using since years:
_Link DWG file;
_Acquire coordinates;
_Rotate project North.

Everything seems fine until I try to save. After that, revit says that I've changed the "current" position of the dwg file. I tried the same workflow in Revit 2024 and it works fine.
I've even tried with other dwg files in 2025 and the issue remains...
Already tried as well in other pc with the same result.
I'm using revit 2025.3 and there's no other upgrade available to 2025.

Is anyone aware of this? Is this a bug? Am I missing any update made in the 2025 version?
Thank you in advance

Hmmm. That's a new one!

Have you tested this DWG with a different model?

I think this particular DWG has an origin point that is so distant that Revit is rejecting it - but somehow not displaying a warning or an error msg.

The latest update for Revit 2025 is 2025.4.2 dated May 15th ... however, I think this is more of a file issue than a Revit issue.

You can get the update from here: https://up1.autodesk.com/prd/2025/RVT/1F91E9AD-BE92-31A9-9F89-7B3DE9DF6318//Revit_2025_4_2.exe

Thank you for your answer Yousif,
It's not the first time I face this thing, but I just thought "maybe I'm just doing something wrong that I'll solve later"... but I've tried in revit 2024 and worked pretty fine.
But maybe you right about the origin... I've created a DWG file from scratch to simulate the survey file and then acquired coordinates followed by the project North rotation and seems that revit didn't need to save again the current position. But if so, it's the first time I saw this behavior.
I'll update my revit version and I'll tell here if something changed.

Hi, I am experiencing the same issue under Revit 2025. I do the usual process to acquire coordinates from a linked dwg survey file (which I did not edit in any case) and I fail to get the same coordinates in Revit as in the original dwg file. It is a bit puzzling because the same process in other version works just fine as usual. What changed in the 2025 version then?  Can someone shed a light on this issue please? Many thanks in advance.

I need more information. Is the "Survey Point" (triangle symbol) not moving? can you take a "before and after" screenshots?

Can you also test the same in 2026 and 2022 (or other newer and older versions?)
