A generic family contains a nested mechanical family -  cutting behavior

I have two questions about a generic Tank family that contains nested pump mechanical families

1- I believe that the mechanical family cutting behavior is similar to the genetic model (cuttable), is that correct?

2-Is it possible to hide the pump in one section view and show it in another?

Assign the elements in the family to a subcategory and turn it on for one view and off for another.

thank you, I think I can assign a subcategory to a form (extrusion), but How can I assign a subcategory to a nested family?

Assign in the nested family and set the family to Shared.
