Go to a plan view, then on the project browser, find the 3d view that you want to see the placement of the camera, right click on it and select Show Camera...it will show you the camera location in the plan view
Depending on if the view is a default 3d view or a camera view the icon looks a bit different in plan view.

that I know. I was thinking of more along the lines like an elevation tag but for camera locations.
