3D view problem

Hi to everyone,

I am new to the revit and I get some really annoying issue.

I get some glitches, visible objects which are inside, and glitches on the surfaces.

I tried turning off the hardware acceleration (turn off and on revit) but nothing has changed.

Reopening the file did not fix the view either.

Any idea how can I fix this? Or what may cause the problem?

Things I would check:

  • make sure you're not in wireframe mode.  Since it's in color I'll assume it is not.
  • Make sure that there isn't a transparency filter setup to give everything 100% transparency.
  • Make sure the template / VG settings don't include transparency.
  • Update your video drivers
  • Recreate a new 3D view in case it was corrupted.

Your 3d view eye and target elevation contain huge value. To reset it, simply go to view cube and click on the isometric icon.

This bug happens when there are some elements too far out of sight so the eye elevation gets messed up

Zoom in to extend (ZE shortcut) try to find this element and delete it.

Go to your project browser, delete your 3D view and; create another one.

create another one. on view -> 3d view.
