30 day trial

Hello, i want to use the 30 day free trial version to learn Revit, i am not a Student and learn on my own.
BUT i cannot see how i activate the trial version, please if anyone can help or is this only for students?

I could not find anything before posting here.

Or can i only do this if i purchase a 1-Year subscription and at day 30 i cancel?

It has been over a decade since I installed the trial.  But IIRC, a trial doesn't' get activated and there should be the option to not  to activate and after 30 days your installation will not start anymore. Maybe nowadays you need to create an Autodesk account or similar... but you still should be able to use it for free for the trial period. 

Maybe post some screeenhsot at the relevant parts of the installation process.

FWIW, 30 days isn't' enough to learn Revit. It basically gives you an idea how it works and helps you make the decision to subscribe. to use the 30 days the best, make sure you have time, and maybe get a book like this to do a project.

thanks for the reply. i know 30days isnt enough, i am doing a course and have a youtube guide to get started with revit and will have a proper course too, just want to start on my own too.

created an account here and downloaded revit, so when i start up revit, it says they didnt find a abo and testversion for this Email adress.

if i click the free testversion i get sent to the website and my 2 options are the student version or the viewer.

added my personal info and got the text msg to my phone for the code verification

but dont want any of these 2 options. just my 30days of trial

You probably have to research on the German Autodesk site. The license conditions may differ by region. 

maybe you can downloads a US or other trial with better conditions. 

I don't know if the course is paid by an employer etc. but IMHO self-study with the book I linked above (and others) and working on actual projects is the best way to learn. 

I also would consider using and learning the English version. The vast majority of videos and books will be in English and the translations into other languages often are "odd".  I'm German, and I do hate German versions of software, movies, books that originated in English.  You know how they call a cellphone a "handy" in Germany. But no one in the native English world would know what that means (or means something totally different).

You could also google Autodesk AVA which is their virtual assistant and it might be able to help you get the 30-day trial version

for solution, my problem was the browser when selcting and choose the trial version that it did not add the product to my account.
