Greetings

I am trying to modeled this double curved curtain wall using Generic Model Pattern Based but it is not really curving the way it should. I tried resetting the pattern grid more than I can count but it is not coming together.

I thought I asked something similar before on the forum but not sure I got any clear answer and now I cannot fid that post again.

My personal preference would be to use G_M_Adaptive template to model the panel and then load into project and use divide and repeat. Suits curved walls as well as straight. You need to watch out for the adaptive points placement (you will need to place it later following same order) ... Screencast is being uploaded atm once it is on Screencast/Autodesk website I will post it here...Could be a chance for you to wait for suggestions from others; maybe someone has an easier solution...

In the meantime...the following tube is an old one used same template you did (G_M_Pattern based) but modeled frame using segments due to the fact that the size of the pattern is relatively small (200x200 blocks/frames) and the curve was not meant to be too acute.... you could use the same using Splines can add a panel/solid form in the center as well...If you privde email, I can send you the files for this one as well as the one from above

If you are up for learning something new...this is somewhat related using the same adaptive component (panel) proposed for your curtain wall; however, on a roof modeled in Conceptual Mass
