Hi everyone.
I have a problem with my new project. The coordinate point I got from the surveyor is far from my building - over 100 kilometers. In this case, the coordinates for placing the piles (for axample) must be given precisely in these coordinates.
I try to move survey point from my building, but Revit returns error "Please enter a value less than 9144000mm".
I was able to solve the problem using dwg-file that measures 100000000mm: imported it into Revit, and then could move the point to 100km using object snap to dwg file.
It turned out well, the tool "Coordinate snap" displays the required coordinates.
Questions:
- Will not the program work unstably using such large numbers? Is buffer overflow possible, etc.?
- Are there any standard work opportunities in my case? For example, without using dwg-files.
Thanx.
