VS 2005

I am trying to call the sample DLLs of Autodesk website (like HelloRevit) from Revit structure and nothing happens. Is revit compatible with VS 2005 (.Net 2) or I need to switch back to .NET 1

I think that for 2005 to work you have to be using Revit 9, which is still in preview release.

Chris is correct. VS05 (2.0) will only work with Revit 9.
For Revit 8.1 and before, you need VS03 or some other 1.1 framework. But I say wait it out a month till 9's in final release. (but feel free to test your code on the beta version)
