View Bounding Box vs View Crop Box Bounding Box

What is the difference between the view's bounding box and the views crop box bounding box?  Are they one in the same?

You may also want to search the entire Revit help material for something like 'view crop bounding box'... that covers the UI aspects as well as the API, which might be more useful to address your question.
