Upgrade RFA to newer Version of Revit

Hi,

I am developing a Revit add-in. My workflows require me to upgrade a Revit family file (RFA) created in some older version of Revit to the current version being used. And this all needs to be in the background. Is it possible to upgrade Revit RFA files without bringing it into the notice of the user?

I can work with an upgraded copy as well.

I don't think you can suspress this upgrade warning. But on the bright side, it only is displayed for a short moment 🙂
