Update Revit Add In on Startup

I'm looking to update an Add-In whenever Revit starts up.  I've been researching and found that I can utilize a bridge DLL that loads first and updates my actual add in before it gets loaded in.  I understand the general mechanics around this and I think I can build it but just wanted to put it out there to the group if there is already a documented solution that I could follow.
