Unable to debug Revit Plugin

I had to change machines after my SSD crashed. On the new machine, I cannot debug my addin. I then used the simple HelloWorld sample in the Autodesk help files in order to narow down the source of the error. The same result.

Every time when I start up the debugger, I get the Revit message "Revit is no longer working" (something like that, the original failure message is in German). The only Options are Close, or Debug, which leads to nowhere.

 

What could be the cause of this?

Try enabling Managed Compaibility Mode.

 

Tools->Options->Debugging->General->"Use Managed Compatibility Mode".
