Take long time to open at material in Edit type

Do you have an explanation  why it is take so long time to open at material. When I use Edit Type -  I press to select a material and it "run" it for a long time - the file is only 30 MB

Is this a Revit API issue, or an end user question?

Are you doing anything programmatically yourself, or just using the standard Revit user interface?

If you are not doing anything programmatically, this is not the best place to ask such a question.
