Setting primary design option in a set

I was trying to look online to see if it was possible via the API to set the primary design option in an option set for a project. I haven't found anything out there that was helpful, so I am asking this question on here in hopes of someone knowing how! 🙂

Join the club, this is an request that's ion the wish list for at least 6 years 😞 Unfortunately design options aren't supported in the API. Fingers crossed for future releases 🙂
