Set parameter by name differently to two sublists.

Hi all,

I'm trying to put a dynamo script together which will generate a door mark value with a separate set of rules dependent on the value of a yes/no parameter. I've attached a screen shot of where I've got to. I've got the parameter value from the doors and grouped the list via keys. I'm struggling to split these two sub lists so I can deal with them separately when it comes to applying a SetParameterByName node. I hope this makes sense, any help would be much appreciated!

Dear Kieran,

Thank you for your query.

Nope, sorry, it does not make much sense to me.

You say nothing at all about what these two lists represent, why there are two of them, or anything, really.

If this is a Dynamo specific question, you will probably have better luck discussing it in the Dynamo forum:

https://forum.dynamobim.com

If it is Revit API specific, it would help if you can explain the problem in Revit API terms.

The screen snapshot does not clarify much to me personally, I'm sorry to say, but then I am not a Dynamo user, just a poor pure API nerd.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Jeremy

Hi,

Thanks for looking anyway. I've managed to solve the problem now myself. Apologies for the confusion regarding Dynamo/API I think I've been mislead by a tutorial interchanging API and Dynamo to mean the same thing.
