Hi, is it possible to to have a Section Line that you have split, make the line  parallel to a non-90 degree? See attachment. The purple is the Spilt line @ 90°, the red is indication of what i want it to be @ 45°.

Dear Jan,

Thank you for your query.

Is this a Revit API issue, or an end user question?

Are you doing anything programmatically, or just using the standard Revit user interface?

I guess the latter, since I have no idea what what you are talking about.

If you are not doing anything programmatically, this is not the best place to ask such a question.

Please note that this discussion forum is dedicated to programming Revit using the Revit API.

Therefore, you cannot expect an answer to a question such as yours relating to installation, product usage or end user support issues here.

You should try one of the non-API Revit product support discussion forums instead for that:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-api-forum/this-forum-is-for-revit-api-programming-questions-not...

The people there are much better equipped to answer your question than us programming nerds.

I hope this clarifies.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Best regards,

Jeremy

@jeremytammik , Actually no it is not a programming question, Sorry for that.

But, will it be possible to do something like this with Python or Dynamo?

No problem.

If it is possible through the UI, then it may be possible programmatically as well.

Generally, one would solve the task manually in the UI first, then examine what Revit database modifications that entails, and use that to determine how to approach it using the API:
