Schema entity disappears when changing group offset or level.

When changing "Reference Level" or "Origin Level Offset", my entity is getting deleted from the group. From Revit DB snoop i can see that before i alter these parameters, my entity is there, as seen in the picture below.

After changing any of the two parameters, the result is as follows:

As you can see the entity with schema "Connection" is gone.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug/intensional behaviour of Revit?

I've done some more testing and I have found out that when changing one of these parameters, instead of moving the group, a new group is created. 

The result is a new ids(Id and uniqueId) and extensible storages is erased.

I have a workaround for this when moving it using the API, but my concern is when a user changes one of these parameters. My addin is dependent on consistent uniqueId and that the extensible storage entities don't get erased.
