Rotate an Element with the keyboard space bar while still in the command

This might be a dumb question but is there any way to Rotate a placed Element or Family while still in your command by using your keyboard?

What I am seeking to do is open a Transaction, place a family, and rotate it by tapping the space bar to the desired angle before I commit the transaction.

Why would you need to adjust it manually? I managed to place families in the past and set the right orientation. It's much more convenient

One of the reasons is I am writing some code to place some flow arrows on piping and I have found the arrows will sometimes come in the wrong direction upon placement and not match the flow direction of the pipe. So I think it would be easier to place each arrow rotate and then move on to the next one. Also, I looking to write some code to place pipe fittings at the end of pipe and rotate them around the axis upon placement. I find this to be easier then placing the fitting and having to click on it to rotate it manually.
