Revit suddenly freezes hangs on startup after installing addins

Dear Autodesk community,

We have got three customers so far who have experienced a not working Revit after installing certain Revit addins. Each of them experienced different issues.

Variable issues they experienced are:

• Revit freezes/hangs when starting up. Revit home view can be seen, but the recent projects or whatsoever are not clickable, and the busy icon does not go away.
• A random delete button from an old popup window floating around, not going away at all.
• Not being able to change/duplicate a family (it definitely used to work).
• Not being able to save changes to a Revit file.

We solved it by uninstalling the addins and restarting Windows.

When reinstalling the addins, everything worked perfect after all.

We do not think specific addins interfere with eachother...

Does anybody of you have ever experienced the same?

We experienced some problems in the past. Our add-in wouldn't start in some cases when the revit structure extensions where installed. When never did solved this problem.
