revit room boundary segments question

Hi, I am trying to retrieve revit room information from api, and when I use the RevitLookUp tool to look into the room detail of the rac_basic_sample_project file (the 2-storey room sample given by revit), I found something that confused me:

in level 1 floor plan, I chose 2 rooms,  the mech room and the bath room, and I looked into both the two rooms' boundary segments. as I understand, both the 2 boundaries are rectangular shaped, thus the boundary segments should be 4 lines that constitute the rectangular. As for the bath room, it is indeed like what I imagined. but for the mech room, the boundary segments have 6 lines that constitute the rectangular.  I tried to create rectangular room that has more than 4 boundary segments so that I can understand why, but all rooms I created have only 4 lines.  Is there anyone who can tell me why the mech room boundary segments have 6 lines?  Thank you.
