Hi Neoris,

Maybe the security setting?  Could you check  Big R >> Options >> Macros, and see if you enabled macros?

Hi Neoris,

I googled.  And I found this post:

http://www.revitforum.org/third-party-add-ins-api-r-d/21942-cant-create-edit-macro-2.html

There is a long history of verious suggestions.  In this case, the suggestion in #16 seemed to have resolved.

Regardless of if you have exactly the same problem or not, you may want to go through thread and check out each suggestion.

They certainly have more suggestion than I can think of...

(incidentally side note: good job www.revitforum.org. Quite impressive list of suggestions and spirit of trying to help the community ..)

I just read your link , I tried the solution but it is not the same problem, I can click on the "module" button, but nothing happens .
I really think that is an admin problems. In fact , I work on my compagny computer and I 'm not a full administrator.
Do you think it's possible ?

Hi there,

I've got a similar problem.. neoris did you find any solution to yours? In my case when I first lunch revit and than macro manager and create a new module:

sharpdevelop opens but stucks at "Building..." state. I cannot close it so I need to terminate SDA.exe from task manager. If I do so and than edit the new created module, this time editor starts but crashes if I press close button. I cannot create or run a macro because its grayed out.

I cannot figure out whats causing this problem. Firewall and antivirus is disabled and I exit every other program.

Do you have any idea to overcome this without wiping out the computer and setup everything all over again? I'm on win7 with Autodesk 2014.

Thanks

Serhan

Hi, it's an old question but if someone have the same problem, i have find a solution :

For solve my problem, i give "all access" to C://temp folder.
In fact, C Shard Develop cant open if you dont have all access in TEMP folder (specitialy Write, Read)
For make this, on your TEMP folder, click right and go to "Security" panel
