Revit is closing my projects without saving and without fatal error

Since yesterday (no updates installed and no modifications made to my settings) Revit changed the way it is closing files.

Normally when you close several projects you end a project one by one and in the end you close the program.

Now when I close one project it saves this project and it is closing all the other revit projects without saving. And Revit is ending without warning or fatal error. When I restart Revit again it is not possible to restart the aborted file.

Why is this happening and what can I do to change this way of ending Revit?

This topic should have been placed in a Revit Architecture 2018 forum instead of an API forum.

My apologies.

Our IT-company de-installed revit and installed it again. The issue was suprisingly still there. So the sugested solutions are not working. I you have a possible solution please let me know.
