Revit COBie toolkit

I´m currently trying to implement the revit maximo integration, but I have some doubts about Revit COBie toolkit.

1) When I use some Revit families in COBie template, COBie toolkit add the parameters instantly, but when I import some families that I created the parameters aren´t added. I have to create those parameters to family or exist some way to the parameters being added automaticaly?

2) The Revit COBie toolkit have predefined parameters, can i add some parameters? How can i add my own parameters in Revit COBie template and link them with COBie spreadsheet?

I don't know the COBie tookkit. May not quite clear about the question you described.

For sure you can add Shared parameters to elements in Revit. With regard to how to add shared parametter, please refer to the SDK sample, CreateShared.
