Revit 2022 IFC export moves assembled family - BUG?

Revit version 2022. Windows 11.

I assemble (structual fraiming) family's when i want to keep those family's together and treat them as one.

When exporting the model to IFC a part of the assembly 'jumps' to a different height.

This means when i need to make an export i need to save my file, disassemble every single assembly and check if i have not missed one.

Funny thing is that this sometimes happens to both of the structural framing family's, sometimes to one but the anchor, (structural stiffener) always remains in it's correct place.

Both structural framing family's are connected to a (level) host.

Is there a way to disassemble all assemblies when exporting to IFC?
Hope someone can help.

Well, the entire Revit IFC import and export functionality is 100% open source, so you yourself have total control:

https://github.com/Autodesk/revit-ifc

Maybe you can raise an issue in that repository to discuss the problem.

Alternatively, if you are not actively programming anything youorself, you might want to raise it in the Revit IFC discussion forum:

https://sourceforge.net/p/ifcexporter/discussion/general

They may be able to help you better there than here in the pure Revit API community.

Hi @j.nijenhuis9QQGU,

For more information about IFC export, should take a look at the Revit IFC Export open source project:

https://github.com/Autodesk/revit-ifc

You can also get in-depth knowledge on the same at the forum:

https://sourceforge.net/p/ifcexporter/discussion/general

Note: The forum question also has information
