Right now, revit doesn't ask for confirmation when deleting a sheet. This has resulted in accidental deletion of sheets countless times. A confirmation dialog box for sheet deletion would be appreciated considering how close delete option is near the rename option.

Thanks

Hi,

Sorry, I'm a little bit confused by your message. Would you like to develop a function that detects when a sheet is deleted and creates a message box to inform the user ? Or are you asking for a Revit update from Autodesk ?

Hi,

I am requesting for a dialog box like, "Are you sure you want to delete this sheet?" , before deleting the sheet.

Thanks

Hi,

Okay, you're in the wrong place ! This forum is for people who develop plugins or macros for Revit. If you want to request an improvement, you need to go to the Ideas section : Revit Ideas

Note : Before suggesting an idea, check to see if someone else has already made the same request !

Hi @Johnsamson91, thank you for sharing an improvement. It's not a solution but I have marked @Charles.Piro's reply as an accepted solution so those who have improvement requests know where they need to submit. Please visit the Autodesk Community again whenever you have any questions.
