I've seen that it is not possible to create or make a design option primary and I am not really sure about what can or cannot be done with them.
I only need to check if certain elements belong to a certain option (I know how), and then modify these elements. Is there any sort of limitation to these modifications if these elements belong to an option instead of the Main Base?
