Hi,
I'd like to be able to open the same view twice (in separate tabs), so I can zoom in to see detail in one view and have the overall view in the other tab.
Note, I'm not talking about Duplicating a view, rather, opening the exact same view twice.
I know this is possible, as somehow I've manage to do this whilst using Revit - though I'm not sure how.
Also, the internet seems to show that it was previously possible by clicking 'Replicate View' in the View tab, but this option appears to have been removed.
Looking at the API docs, there is a reference to 'Replicate view' in the PostableCommand Enumeration.
I've tried setting uidoc.ActiveView to a view that's already open, but Revit simply changes focus to that window, and won't open a new view of it.
Any advice?
