no External Tool group

I would like to run and debug my addin but no External Tool group under Add-Ins ribbon tab as previous versions of Revit. What would I do please?

In general, this indicates an issue with the add-in manifest or the external command implementation.

Following the steps described in the hello world guide should always get you past this initial hurdle:
