Navisworks Export Options, uncompressed geometry

Something may be wrong with my setup, but if I manually change the settings in my Navisworks exporter so that it will export with geometry uncompressed, as soon as I run my AddIn's Nwc Export, the geometry is compressed again.

It seems as though an Nwc from the 2016 API inherently comes out compressed. Is this true? Can this be changed? I don't see it in the Navisworks Export Options anywhere.

Apologies, further testing shows that it was the faceting factor that needs to persist from API export, and I also used up my edit quota.

But it does not appear that anyone gave feedback, I will later. Would be much preferred if we could adjust this setting without client registry edits though.
