Missing External Tools Revit 2019 Student Version

Hello everyone, I am trying to write a plug-in for Revit 2019 (student version), but I am missing the external tools button and can't load the plug-in. I uninstalled/reinstalled Revit and tried to install Navisworks, but to no avail so far. Is this a common problem and I am just missing something small?

Hi,

I believe you have to install the add-in manager to get the external tools button(ribbon) in your add-ins.

I have not used a student version before, i hope this link is useful for you.

Hi,

In addition to my previous message, alternatively would be to install revit 2019 sdk, then the add-in manager will appear in your add-in ribbon as well.
