Make ShowElements act like Show button in Select by ID menu.

Hello, I am new to Revit API, and I was wondering if there was a way to make the ShowElements() command work similar to how the "show" button works in the Select by ID menu? I want it to work based off of elements in my uiDoc.Selection. Thank you!
