Does anyone know the status of

I found similar issue in Revit 2021 in that the light source is included in view specific geometry even when the light source category is turned off in view. The visibility also seems governed by material used on face of light source rather than 'light source' subcategory.

I've included a macro in the sample project which demonstrate the issue.

(macro named LightSourceGeometryVisibility > Run)

This macro duplicate the view geometry that shouldn't contain the light source and then turns the light source subcategory on to show a vertically offset light source (to distinguish it from the original). As far as I'm concerned this second object should not exist as the original view did not show it.

Also this create a bizarre situation where the visibility of a direct shape of category 'Generic Models' is governed by the visibility of subcategory 'Light Source'.

As noted above this probably has major implications for clash detection automation etc. Imagine if the light source was a cone everyone walking under it would clash.
