Issue with placing generic model at bottom of the wall

Dear All,

I tried placing a generic model at the bottom of the wall, but I found out that after editing the profile, the generic model reacts differently. The simple act of clicking edit profile, then "finish edit mode" will trigger this. There does not even need to be a change in the wall profile.

I would like to know which parameter in the wall changes when we edit its profile so I can look for it and place the generic model correctly with API.

Thanks.

I am assuming it is a face-based generic model. I could not replicate this behavior. Whatever I tried it placed the generic model family vertical. But I figured FamilyInstance class has a IsWorkPlaneFlipped property that controls what you are dealing with.
