Hello,
I ran into a problem when moving a DirectShape after I undo a rotation of the same DirectShape. I didn't find anything related to this on the Internet or this forum, so I guess I'm doing something wrong here.
I'll describe below my steps with screenshots and I'll attach a small project for creating the DirectShape. I also included a rvt project. The sample was made is MS Visual Studio 2015, Version 14, update 3.
1. I load/create a project (i use architectural template) and call Add-Ins > External Tools > DS Test. This creates a small pyramid as seen below:
2. I rotate the element by user interface:
3. I undo the rotation, so that the element is in it's original pozition;
4. I select and move the element to the right:
5. The result is that the element is not only moved, but also rotated:
Am I doing something wrong when creating the DirectShape? If I save the project with the DirectShape already created, close and reload it, the "rotation+undo+move" operation works fine. The issue just happens with a DirectShape that was just created and not loaded.
I'm hoping i was clear enough, that i didn't miss any typos and that someone could help me 🙂
Thank you,
Doinas
