Instal dotnet 8 on visual studio 2022 for revit 2025

Hello,

I have a problem with visual studio 2022. For Revit 2025, you must compile with the dotnet 8 sdk.

By default, it was not installed on my PC. I installed it but it does not appear in the .net list in visual studio. I searched the net but a priori only a version of visual studio can pose a problem but my version is higher than the minimum..

as far as i know, you can't use .net 8 framework, with old project. you need to upgrade your project.

After installing dotnet 8, you need to upgrade the project.  VS 2022 has a built in tool for this.  https://devblogs.microsoft.com/dotnet/upgrade-assistant-now-in-visual-studio/

After updrading the project, you may also need to make some manual code updates to compile successfully.
