Indicator for changing Element

I am planning to select 100 elements and then apply the add-in action and change their parameter accordingly.

how do I indicate which element has been change and which has not.

I notice some addin can make the element into white color to indicate the element has been changed.. i search around and i could not find it.

Need help ..>.<

not about color.. i notice some changes from other addin after they change the parameter. the white colour indicator 

for example.
