I want to get the centerline of the beam.

Hi everyone,

When I use familyInstance.Location I see it's not correct.
My beam is tilted(slanted), I want to be able to get the black centerline as shown in the picture, not red (red is the color of LocationCurve taken in the api).

    Which line do you want Red or Black? Can you please confirm this 🙂

i am not sure if there is a reference for this black line you are looking for in a beam instance model. but since you need it, you can project the location curve over a plan. by then you can get it as projected.
