how to programmatically selected ribbon button in revit?

hi,

on form load of settings, behind i want to select my ribbon button programmatically.

i tried IsActive, IsChecked and Highlight but it doesnt workout for me.

so is there a way i can do it...

The official Revit API does not provide any such functionality, afaik.

Oh, actually, on second thoughts, one possibility is in fact supported:

If the ribbon button is connected with an external command, you can also launch that command programmatically:
