Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to programmatically click a button in the ribbon?  For example, I would like to programmatically click the "Mechanical Equipment" button in the System ribbon.  Can this be done programmatically?  Thanks a lot for any help!

How Perform click (simulate) on ribbon button? - Autodesk Community - Revit Products

If command isn't post-able then the undocumented methods of AdWindows may help although I don't like going that way since they are unsupported so may change in the future without any notice. Although having said that developers seem to have been using AdWindows for years now. There may be also platform differences in how AdWindows is utilised, I don't know.

I searched Google for you just by adding the word 'Revit' to your title i.e. 'Revit Ribbon'. I've read the result it seems like a good answer. It was answer 1 out of 240,000 results found in 0.63 seconds after all, so Google seems quite good at these things. Although having said that there are only three pages of Google results so perhaps nobody ever verifies these things that Google boasts i.e. where all the other pages of results went? I was kind of interested in result 240,000 to see how relevant it was and how there could possibly be 240,000 results about this subject?
