How to list all Departments?

I am able to get all rooms and list their departments, but how would I go about listing ALL departments, even those not yet assigned to a room? I see Revit is able to do this. Is there a way to do something similar through the API?

I do not believe you have access to this via API. You could query all rooms and store values, but if there are ones unused you can't get to them at this point. Another option could be to hard code a drop-down since it's just a text anyways.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing, thanks @Sean_Page.

My follow up question would have been about accessing the Color values, but I see that's on the roadmap to be updated. Looking forward to it!
