Embed xml or json in a Revit model

Is there anyway to embed xml or json data in a Revit model apart from stuffing it in a ProjectInformation text parameter?

I'm currently trying to store data about when a model has been issued for coordination but it would be handy to store arbitrary business data inside the Revit file.

If using a text parameter is the only way is there a character limit to how much can be stored?

and from my side I would sugegest you this utility I created. Use Extensible storage much easier with it especcialy if you are new in programming.
