Hello!
I just want to ask if i should first uninstall my 2018 Revit App to install 2020 Version Revit? i have problems with my 2018 Revit bout the "Pick Line" tool leading to the "unrecoverable error" and forced to closed. I already read forums bout the said problem but i dont see if it is fixed already since it was posted last 2017 but no "fixed error" response. i also read and think that perhaps it was only on the 2018 version so i really want to install a newer version maybe there is no same problem already.. 'Pick Line" tool is really helpful and important to me cause i am working with my academic purpose drawn in autocad with unusual form of floor plan so the tool really helped me a lot. it really was working until it reached to 41,000+ KB in size the file itself i am working. tried to purge the file but it still no longer working tho. now i am installing 2020 version Revit but the error "The installer has detected that the following programs are running. Revit.exe" is keep stopping me from installing the newer version.. i already read tips in different forums tho they are different AutoDesk Applications it all didnt work, the task manager app closing etc., that is why i want to know if i should delete my 2018 version Revit to install the newer version. i am just scared that maybe uninstalling the older version doesnt really mean anything about the error that is stopping me from installing the newer version, that when deleted i may not be able to reinstall every version even the 2018 version. Will deleting my 2018 Revit is solution for me to be able to install the 2020 Revit? Thank You!! :)) ❤️ ❤️
Regards,
🙂
