Dialog box memory

Dialog boxes in Revit 2023 don't remember the state they were left in.

Constantly resizing to my preferences. It this the standard behavior? Or is there a hidden setting for this somewhere?

Are you talking about Revit's own built-in Windows forms, or are you programming them yourself in your own add-in?

For the former, this is indeed the wrong forum. You would get a better response in the much larger product oriented Revit Architecture forum.

If you are programming these forms yourself using the Revit API, this is the right place to discuss further. In that case, what exactly are you doing, please, and what behaviour and differences are you observing? Best illustrated by providing a complete minimal reproducible case:
