Create Stacked Wall Type with API

Hi

I've been looking for a way to either create a Stacked Wall type from scratch or duplicating an existing Stacked Wall and modifying the member wall type Id's that make up the stack.  I've hit a dead end.

I can access everything about the Stack including getting a list of Wall Id's (wall.GetStackedWallMemberIds()) but cannot find a way to modify or re-order that list.  Sure, I can modify the wall structure of the wall members but I need to swap the Id's thus creating another Stacked Wall type.  Something like wall.SetStackedWallMemberIds(Id's) would be useful.

Any help / pointers / insight would be appreciated or would this be a wish list item?

Thanks

The development team replied:

This is currently read-only, not modifiable.

Sorry about that.

If this is important to you, please submit a wish list item in the Revit Idea Station and ensure it gets lots of votes.

Thank you!

Cheers,

Jeremy

Thank you Jeremy.  I have posted on the Ideas section.  Here is the link for anyone who lands here looking for stacked wall tools and wants to add their vote!
