Copying Light Fixtures between files

Hi,

New to Revit and wondering if there is a way/ what the best was is to copy light fixtures in place between files. We have an old version of a Revit file we recieved in which we placed light fixtures in very specific places. We now have recieved a new model and I need to get the fixtures into the new model in the same exact location. In autocad terms I need to copy and past with a basepoint but im not sure how I go about doing that in Revit. Can anyone help?
