Copy/Monitor elements from linked file

Hello,

I'm curious if there's a method to copy or monitor elements from a linked file. For instance, I can duplicate grids from a Revit linked file, but I'm unable to monitor them using the Revit API.

Could you assist me with this?

I am not sure this is covered by the Revit API. There are a couple of open wishes for suchlike functionality in the Revit Idea Station:

That said, there may also be ways that I am not aware of to achieve your specific needs with the existing API.
