COBie parameters mapping

Hey there,

After scrolling through a couple of websites and still not getting how to solve my problem, I hope for some valid advice from a wider community 😉

I am trying to figure out parameters mapping in COBie. In the given BEP, I have a list of the parameters that should be exported but in Project Setup - Parameters Mapping there are many parameters I don't need and some of the required ones are missing.

How can I manage what parameters to select and how to add new ones? I tried clicking the three dots or the plus sign but this is definitely not the option I had been looking for.

The goal is to export COBie sheet with these parameters:

Many thanks for your help!

The COBie Extension Parameter mapping is only available for parameters that are attached to model elements. COBie contacts are stored in Revit's "extensible storage" which is essentially a secret area of the Revit model database that lets programmers add whatever extra data they need to. So, there are no "parameters" for Contacts that you can see in the Revit model, at least with the default parameters created by the COBie Extension.

I do not want to speak for that specific BEP, but if they want the Contact information filled in, that is done just in the COBie Extension Contact dialog box. But again, you will never see a parameter called "COBie.Contact.Email" or "COBie.Contact.Company" unless you create one.

I strongly recommend watching the YouTube videos to understand how the COBie Extension works if you haven't yet.
