Change Arrowhead Tick Size to Instance Parameter

Hello,

Background: We currently have our wall/roof tags with leader lines set to Heavy Line. We are trying to get it so that the Heavy Line "tick" goes through the entire width of the wall/roof, but there are so many instances of different widths that creating a new "Heavy Line" arrowhead type and then a new Wall Tag type for each instance is not a realistic solution.

Question: How difficult would it be to change a System Family parameter (Arrowhead "Tick Size") to instance? Preferably where you can drag the length similar to section markers, but typing the length is fine too.

I have looked into API solutions and Dynamo solutions, I am advanced in Revit but I am new to the coding side so it is feeling in over my head for the moment. Any advice or solutions?

I'm going to say that's not possible the way you describe it, the best i think you could do is exactly what you don't want to (create new types & tags). Instead i would suggest creating a annotation family with the instance parameters you want.
