Change annotation element's owning view

Hi All,

before I give up and copy an annotation symbol + delete the original, I'll check in here: is there any way to 'move' view dependent elements from one view to another? I'd like to keep the UniqueId (which will be lost on copying...)

Thanks, Peter

As far as I know you can't do this. Suggest you instead use ElementTransformUtils to copy to another view and include extensible storage/parameter value within the element to assign your own ID for tracking.

Yeah - that's what I was afraid of. Keeping track of a separate ID is a can of worms I'm not going to open - I'll just warn the user. Thanks
